Whilst these are not my staple genre I do enjoy exploring new ideas and continuing to learn and challenge myself. My Streetscapes are inspired by the noise and bustle of the big cities and the reflections of light bouncing off the puddles on a winter's night. The florals concentrate on the bold use of colour and experimenting with different means of mark making and mixing media. Painting a still life is a calm and reflective genre, allowing me to control the content, composition and lighting whilst in the confines of my studio. The choice of objects is limitless.
