I guess my really exciting news is that my solo exhibition will be opening on Friday 16th of April. "Kicking Dust " is filled with the stories and colours of the outback and life on a cattle station. Inspired by my own daughter's adventures working as a musterer and my travels to various outback posts and stations this is a new direction for me. The paintings are of brilliant sunsets, the dusty trails of the drover and of course the animal's and people that thrive and survive in that very tough environment. I will also be doing pastel demonstrations on site from 1-3.00 on Sat 17th and 24th of April and also the 8th of May. So if you get the chance - pop in and have a chat - I'd love to see you. Gallery M is a large, light filled venue at the Marion Cultural Centre with plenty of free parking, a gift shop and cafe - a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.
Keep well and enjoy this beautiful weather.
